Trade starter template not working as expected

so I have tried multiple ways to get the trade theme to work, but it doesn't retain the layout of the homepage. No matter if I instal Beaver Builder PRO (current version) before or after I import the starter site, the homepage content doesn't appear until after I open BB and then save. But then none of the css is applied to the homepage content. The "service request form" block has no design and is not overlaying the hero. The 3 buckets are just text - no layout.
what is the proper way to install so that the homepage layout is preserved?

Apologize for the late reply - we had to look deep into this.
A recent Beaver Builder update may have caused an incompatibility that we need to fix.
For now, I wonder if manually importing the content will work for you?: https://gpsites.co/files/trade/content.xml
Can you import that in "Tools > Import" and see if it works?

the content is there, it just isnt showing. Everything on the import says "already exists". do you maybe have an all-in-one migration export?
