Top menu disappears when viewing in mobile

The top menu disappears when viewing in mobile and this only happens IF I use a child theme.
What's the solution?
Never mind. Did a quick search and found the solution. I just removed the import rule. So does it mean that GP doesn't need the import rule when creating a child theme?

The @import rule isn’t very efficient, so we import the parent CSS for you using a better method.
