Top Bar still showing

Hello,
I've deactivated the top bar on all pages and made sure there are no widgets in the top bar area, and it is still showing. I do not see a top bar option in customize/layout.
I've even tried adding this CSS:
.top-bar {
display: none;
}
Can you tell me what I'm missing?

The grey bar on the top of your page is actually the secondary navigation. You can disable it here:
