Top Bar Notification Window

Hi Tom/David/Leo. Is there an easy way to combine the code provided here https://www.gmitropapas.com/generatepress-theme-tutorial-convert-the-top-widget-bar-into-a-notification-window/ and here https://www.w3schools.com/Js/js_cookies.asp? I would like the notification to be dismissable for like a week. Thanks in advance.

Unfortunately that will require some custom coding which is a bit outside the scope of this forum.
I did mention this to Tom awhile back and we will be considering adding this as a future feature :)
Okay. That makes sense. The solution I found did not work well with the responsive menu.
Yeah I tried using the solution as well but definitely has some kinks that need to be worked on.

Note - my comments about it being experimental.... this will allow the notice to be dismissed, and it will remain dismissed until the browser session is restarted.
