    Hi Tom,
on my site http://www.forum-seniorenarbeit.de I played around with the new top bar. I recognized, that it behaves different on some pages.

Please have a look on homepage (correct) and other sites. I could also see this on http://www.celtic-rock.de

    Best wishes

    Daniel

    Ah I see.

It looks like it might be contained because it’s inside of your merged page header element, where there’s no page header element on the other pages.

You can set all of them to combined in Customize > Layout > Top Bar.

Thanks Tom, it was a configuration mistake. I found a way to have it inside the header on all pages now.

‘Customize > Layout > Top Bar’ doesn’t appear in my (up to date) customizer. Is this a result of my running TU’s logo-into-nav bar riff? Does the addition of Top Bar make the said tweak unnecessary?
    thanks

You need to have a widget added into your Top Bar widget area (Appearance > Widgets).
