Hello team,
I’m using a TOC plugin (details in the Private Info tab), and I notice that since updating to the latest Generatepress version, the TOC is not working correctly.
When using TOC, 1, 2, 3, and other items are not working (H2s), while 2.1, 2.2 etc (H3s) are not working. It doesn’t scroll to that number.
Would you be able to tell me what’s happening and how I can fix this? We’ve not made any changes except update Generatepress plugin to the latest version

What WordPress version are you using currently? Did you recently update this as well?
I think the TOC plugin you’re using has had issues with later updates of WordPress, not just GeneratePress.

There shouldn’t be a code in GP that should prevent this TOC from working.
A plugin like Easy Table of Contents is what we usually recommend if you’re looking for an alternative:
