    I assume the slow scrolling is because its conflicting with other smooth scroll elements, probably from Elementor.
    You could try using a pure CSS method for the back to top – see here:

    just out of curiosity:
    something changed lately within gp that made the ‘style’ part to be unnecessary or even disturbing – right?

    Hmmmm…. if i remember correctly, a user had some issues with us using inline styles, as some security audits see them as a potential cross scripting security risk. So we moved them to a stylesheet.

    referring to the “slow scrolling” – not really sure what you mean by that.
    gp scrolling option is turned off as it potentially conflicts with elementor scrolling (which cant be simply turned off by option).

    but on my side of the screen theres no “slow” scrolling. neighter down or up nor by back-to-top button?
