I’m using GeneratePress, GenerateBlocks, Cloudways Hosting and WP Rocket.

I’m not getting the right scores even after doing lots of tweaking.

Now so far from reading GP Forums I’ve learned that WP Rocket Optimize CSS Deliver doesn’t go well with GP and David is recommending to turn that off.

So my problem is if I use Optimize CSS then my CLS loading goes up mainly due to menu toggle.
If I turn that off then First Contentful Paint and Largest Contentful Paint increases.

So I’m stuck in a bad position.

Can someone guide what should I do to get all in green.

My currents settings is Optimize CSS Off and Combine CSS.

I’m looking to reduce First Contentful Paint & Largest Contentful Paint.

    Hi Kripesh
It’s a hassel to get google conform.

    My tip is:
    use CAOS to optimize Analytics
use WP Armour for spam protection if you use google
use LiteSpeed Cache if you have Memcached on the server
    use Cachify when no Memcached
use OMGF to store the google fonts on the server
use Freesoul Deactivate Plugins to remove plugins that are not needed on each page
use PhastPress to optimize CSS and script, but don’t use lazyload
use Plugins Garbage Collector (Database Cleanup) to clean and reduce database probs
use only light way plugins and fewer plugins so the faster you are

i got all in green now by speed and all mobile-ready.

    hope this helps

    Hi there,

i ran a PSI test on both the URLs you provided for testing and both score really highly on the Lab Data and the CLS is way below 0.1. So – did you resolve the issue?

FCP as an overall issue is generally related to the Initial Server response time or the size of the HTML – both posts are reporting Avoid Excessive DOM sizes. This is the amount of content you have on the page – reducing content or paginating a post is the best way to minimise that.

To note: the optimized CSS delivery in WP Rocket – we see a lot of issues with this when the user simply leaves WP to do it automatically… i am sure if configured manually it will work correctly but this is something you would have to address with WP Rocket

    Thanks for the help David.
Yes, I’ve resolved it with some more tweaks and testing.

For now it’s working 😉 and all in GREEN.

Kripesh, welcome as i see you are looking for speed and SEO too.

one more thing, even my self i only try it yesterday and this is the best EVER.
    WP Meteor

just read the instructions well, as it did not work with PhastPress (changed back to Autoptimizer)and not all cache systems. this is the final boost you can get.
I only get a WPForm Script msg, but it is working still.

sharing, is nice, as i learn a lot from others to here.

    have fun
