I would like to link the category to the global info on the main page of the info demo site.

If you're referring to choosing a specific category per section of Query Loops, you'll need to add a taxonomy Parameter for the Query Loop. Reference: https://docs.generateblocks.com/article/query-loop-overview/#query-parameters
