I'm looking to add a section to my homepage that will show the last 3 or so blog posts, is this possible?

we just released GenerateBlocks 1.5:
https://generateblocks.com/generateblocks-1-5-dynamic-data-query-loops-image-blocks/
it has a new Query Loop Block ( and Image Block ).
With it you can build your own custom posts lists and display them wherever you need.
