Threaded/Nested Comments is not working correctly

I've enabled threading on the settings > discussions menu to be 5 levels deep, but if you hit the 'reply' button under a comment the nesting/threading doesn't function properly.
Hi there,
can you try disabling all plugins apart from GP Premium and remove any custom functions to see if one of them is causing a conflict?
My acceptance site seems to work fine, and my production doesn't. Fun.
Any errors showing up in the Developers Console Or anything amiss in the site healthcheck?
