[Resolved] Thoughts on CSS font display feature

Just wondering about the Pagespeed Insights recommendation for webfonts?
“Leverage the font-display CSS feature to ensure text is user-visible while webfonts are loading.”
I am sure you have heard of this but here is the link: https://web.dev/font-display/?utm_source=lighthouse&utm_medium=unknown

I probably could find a way to functions.php it or via a plugin but I would like to know your thoughts on the topic.

Hi there,

Web fonts don’t really have a fallback to swap from, so it doesn’t really apply.

Instead, use our SVG icons in Customize > General.

That way no web fonts will load on the page at all.
