Theme with Page Builder "none" and use Elementor after?

I bought premium GeneratePress themes and I don't know if Elementor can be used also on a theme that does NOT have any Page Builder. When I select the theme to download, Elementor shows as an option for "Page Builder".
For example, if I download a theme that does not have a PageBuilder, afterwards can I download Elementor on top of it and work with this specific theme? the theme I like is Wordsmith and it does not have a page builder.

yes, you can use a Page Builder on any of the Sites from the Library for adding content to the site.
