Theme update

Hi there,
If I update the theme, will I lose the modifications of my style.css?

Hi Istvan,
If you have customized GeneratePress' core stylesheet, then yes, your edits will be lost on update. This is because when you update, all GeneratePress files are deleted and re-uploaded.
That's why you should always use a custom CSS plugin (https://wordpress.org/plugins/simple-css/) or a child theme to add CSS edits to the theme.
