Hello,
With GP Premium, changing GP to a child theme, or changing childs: Should we assume that all theme options must be inherit to a child theme? Some options fails, as the copyright text.
Please revise and fix it.
Thank you!
Hi Fernando,
Yes, all theme options/functionalities should work as expected on the Child Theme.
To clarify, what exactly are you experiencing with the Copyright text?
Moreover, to check, in Appearance > GeneratePress, do you have the Copyright module enabled?
Kindly let us know.
Hola tocayo!
As I said: When changing theme* the custom copyright HTML disappears. It becomes empty or shows "false" (as I realized yesterday).
(*) Changing theme: GP parent to child, or GP child to other GP child.
Of course, I have custom copyright text because copyright textarea in customizer is enabled because GP Premium module is active.
Gracias!
Hi Fernando,
The copyright text is stored in a theme specific database, so it's normal behaviour.
For more info, please check this:

So, the copyright text option is not passed to the child theme?
