Theme doesn't support Jetpack Infinite Scroll

I have installed jetpack and it says that my theme doesn't support the infinite scroll by jetpack. I have to put some custom coding in order to use that feature of that plugin mentioned here: https://jetpack.com/support/infinite-scroll/
I do not understand where to put these codes on my theme. Can anyone suggest anything?
