Theme conflict with eroom zoom meetings and webinar plugin

Hello Awesome Generatepress people

I know you don't help with plugins but I was wondering if you know of any theme conflicts with the eroom plugin?

Grid items stipulated in shortcade don't display as they should across a page

I wrote to them and they replied: There might be a conflict with the theme templates, we couldn't recreate this problem on our testing environmentб the grid always shows the set number of meetings in row

I admit I don't quite know what that means. Is this something can be rectified my side?

I tired the plugin on another generic theme, works perfectly but when back to my beloved Generatepress problem reoccurs.
Deactivated and reactive all plugins, no change.

I would love to purchase and use this plugin as it fits into my budget and is seemingly perfect for my purpose, but obviously not if it is not going to function properly even before I have made the purchase.

Any insights please?

Hi there,

can you share a link to the site where i can see the issue ?

Hi There

That Goodness for Generatepress...
Thank you for always being there for us!

So I deactivated the eroom plugin, there were a few issues I couldn't sort.
I activated another similar plugin which seems to have better support.

Same issue so... something to do with how it sits on the page.

I have created 3 different pages with examples... to test. Seems on all pages related content sits left and there is an empty white space to the right...

1. Events Testing Zoom Plugin

Meetings list module-in the backend it show the 3 column across the page, in the frontend it only allows 2.

2. Single meeting should fit on a single page side by side, looks good on the backend but on the frontend – doesn’t stretch across the page, block with details slips in beneath.

3. Also included the page for the meeting itself, no space... format completely out.

Honestly don't know what's going on - have I done something weird to the site?

I created a new page with simple text and image, just check - everything looks normal...

Thank you so much as always for your support...

Hi David

Just to add to -
I reactivated the eroom plugin and to show the initial problem I was having...
Looks like this

https://seshatma.com/testing-eroom-plugin-zoom-metings/

If I ask for 3 rows gives me 2, if I ask for 4 gives me 3 - white space on right side remains...

Also in the single meetings page, blocks move beneath each other instead of taking up full page..

Options:

1. Go go to Customizer > General and change the Structure to Flexbox.
Check the site as this 'may' cause issues with other layouts.... if thats a problem then return it to floats and do #2.

2. Add this CSS to your site:

.stm_zoom_grid_container .stm_zoom_grid__item {
  box-sizing: border-box;
}

Thank You!!!!

CSS only worked on eroom..
Flexbox works perfectly!

However, I am having issue with the meetings page. Layout is weird. (on both)

There were other issues I couldn't resolve with eroom so I am going with Video Conferencing with Zoom.

Meetings page problem:

1. No padding or space on the pages. (all settings)

https://seshatma.com/zoom-meetings/a-test-meeting-8/

2. Content-siderbar (right sidebar) = empty space, no content
Sidebar-content (left sidebar) = same as the right sidebar (as are all the other variations)

Any chance you have a fix? Please, Thank You, in advance...

Hi there,

I'm not exactly sure I understand what the layout goal is.

Can you explain how you want it to look like? Perhaps, provide mockup images as well? Let us know.

Hello again

Sorry if that wasn't clear.

I just want the meeting page to reflect the container instructions of the rest of the site with content padding so the page doesn't look full width.

Demo page from plugin developers: Video Conferencing with Zoom

https://demo.codemanas.com/code-manas-pro/zoom-meetings/demo-zoom-event/

This plugin allows me to create a 'zoom meetings' page in the same way we create other pages. If I set the sidebar layer to 'No sidebars' and content container to 'contained'... I still see a full width page.

https://seshatma.com/zoom-meetings/a-test-meeting-8/

If I set the sidebar layout to any other layout setting (left or right sidebar or both), I see an empty space on the right side of the page where the sidebars should be - the sidebars are not visible. I would like to be able to see my right sidebar when that option is selected (if this is possible). Also with the default content padding so the page doesn't look full width.

The meetings page:

https://seshatma.com/zoom-meetings/a-test-meeting-7/

A normal page:

https://seshatma.com/this-is-a-new-page/

I hope that explains the problem...

And thank you as always for the amazing support form Generatepress

Ah I see.

I think the best approach is to set the Container Width of 1230px on Appearance > Customize > Layout > Container and remove the sidebar completely.

You can also try setting 1230px on your Layout Element's Content Width on the Content tab if you prefer targeting specific pages or post types with the display rule. There's no need for the theme's default sidebar for these pages as your plugin is rendering its own.

Goodness,,,,
So Simple...

Thank you sooo much... sorted!
Suddenly... I understand.

What would we all do without you.
Really appreciate your time and support.
Best team ever!

No problem. Glad you got it sorted. :)
