Theme blocks me accessing site

Hi
When I try to access my site, I keep getting the error:
" There has been a critical error on this website. Learn more about troubleshooting WordPress."
I change the theme over and I can access the site no problem. However when I change the theme back to GeneratePress, I get the above error again.
Can you help me please? Access details below:

Hi there,
couple of questions:
1. Has there been any modifications made to the Themes functions / template files?
2. Are you using any Hook Elements in GP Premium ?
David
In answer to your questions:
1) No - Don't have the knowledge or expertise.
2) No - I couldn't get my head round the Hook elements and on how to implement them
Jeff
Can you ask your host to provide any information from the server error_log so we can trace whats the cause of the issue?
David
I will come back to you
Jeff
Thanks!
David
The host for the site came back to say:
" Jeff,
We did not find anything in the error logs. You can ask them to provide you with a different version of the theme and see if it works fine"
Jeff
In that case. Delete the GeneratePress theme. And then simply re-install directly from the Theme admin.
David
Thank you so much. That fixed the problem.
Can you help me with the footer on https://crazyoverdogs.com/
1) How do I remove the text " footer navigation "
2) How do I put the 2 lines of links on one line.
Look forward to hearing from you
Jeff
Glad to hear that!
Would you mind raising a new topic so this one can be resolved :)
David
No problem. Thank you for your kind and valued help
Jeff
Thank you!
