The webpage is not fixed

I am using Generate press theme with GP premium installed. And I am having problem with the pages on the front end. The pages are not fixed and if I move my mouse over the page it moves to the right or to the left, as if there is some hidden padding or margin added to the body or content area. But I had checked a lot around and couldn't find anything.

I am also using WP bakery page builder for the pages layout. I am wondering and almost sure the theme conflicts with this visual editor. Is there something you can understand please? Do I need to adjust the CSS to fix this?

Please check https://gotmoving.ca/ to see what I mean. I use Firefox and safari and both show the same.

Thanks :)

Hi Helen,

I'm not seeing horizontal scroll on your home page, is there a specific page I should be looking at?

No, just home page should show it. Mine shows it pretty clear.

I am realizing that when I change the layout of the page to full width, I get the horizontal scroll bar and when is set on contained it works OK.
So what can I do to the CSS to fix the full width layout?

Yes the layout of the page is on full width. That's what I change with the generate press theme. And then visual editor gives me options of stretch row.

So Thanks anyway! :) If you don't see it on your browser, maybe it is not that bad!
I am still playing with different options to see if I can fix it on my end. But perhaps you can't help if you don't see it.

I keep this thread open for a while and note my findings if I find a solution for others.

Hi Helen,

As you are using a page builder to build the page, and its full width contents are calculated based on a non-full-width page.

So I would recommend do NOT turn on GP's full width option for now :)

And maybe check with the page builder support to see if they can fix the issue with full width page.

Yes, Thank you! That is what I will do.
page on Contained layout and page builder on Stretch row with no padding. This seems to do the trick for now.
:)

I close this thread now.

You are welcome :)
