The short description appears on the product category page.

you don't have the GP Woocommerce module active on your site ? And the advice Ying provided is only an option if that module is active.

We activated the module and did what ying said and that short description still shows up in the product catalog.

What can we do?

If it still appearing after you did that, then it means that some other plugin is interfering with that.
I noticed that some of the products HTML is different then Woos default templates eg. the Grid List plugin seems to be adding its own code.

What happens if you disable all plugins except for GP Premium and Woo, and then follow Yings instructions ? Does it go away then? if it does then another plugin is adding it back in

Ok, we have already disabled grid list and the problem has disappeared.

Might be worth checking with the grid list author, i would expect they have an option in the plugin for displaying that content.
