    Hi, GeneratePress.
As mentioned in the title, the mobile toggle function does not work in the Google News app.
If you have installed the Google News app and can click https://news.google.com/s/CBIwmdH5yFY?sceid=KR:ko&r=11&oc=1 then you can check.
    The website address is https://whycar.co.kr/
On mobile, menu toggling works. However, it does not work in the Google app.
I need your help. Thank you.

    Hi there,

Something like this is very difficult to debug, as debugging tools aren’t available on mobile.

The mobile menu functionality uses very simple javascript, so there shouldn’t be any issues. Perhaps there’s a plugin or custom function on the site causing the issue? Is there any way to test it while other plugins are deactivated?

Hi Tom. Thanks for the answer.
As you said, this is an app environment, so you can’t debug it. And only in the Google News app you can find this error.

I tested after activating the GP Premium plugin only, but I still have the same problem.
Perhaps this is a problem with the Google News app.
Anyway I have to solve this. Can you give me any some advice or solution?
For reference, I used to use the Newspaper Theme before.
    Thank you for your help.

Does the issue persist if you temporarily disable GP Premium?

Is the site using AMP when in the app maybe?

    Thank you for your support.
Even if I disable the GP Premium plugin, the Google News app doesn’t update in real time. I know Google uses its own cache.
The website is the AMP website. However, I don’t know if it is being viewed as an AMP article on the Google News app.
It’s difficult to debug and test, so it’s probably hard to find solution.
    Thank you.

Is the site using this plugin if it’s using AMP?: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/amp-compatibility/

If not, try installing it to see if it fixes the issue.

    Good!
    I’ll install and check it.
