The archives are load more but page - 1,2,3,4 still exist

Here's my issue - I've added load more in archives but my author pages - 1,2,3,4...50 still exist and are indexed too.
Is there a way to remove those pages and keep only one archive page?
Hi there,
that is expected, as load more simply fetches the next page in the query.
most SEO plugins provide options to noindex pages like the author or category pages, which maybe something you want to consider if thats an issue.
