Hi Tom and GP team,
I had contacted support a few days before about my concerns for using block builders and thank you for the prompt and helpful response you sent to me. I have purchased GP premium and generateblocks pro and I am blown away by what I can do as a non-pro with these two simple tools. I had been using Genesis for a long time and got their GenesisBlocks to help me cut down on developer and designer fees. Your products have indeed solved my problems and I am preparing to migrate all my sites from Genesis to Generatepress and GeneratBlocks pro.
Watching all your videos to learn how these work and hope to get a better handle of things soon. Thank you for the time and effort in putting all these together.
Just a side: I like using the blocks element to build my home page. Still trying to figure out how to use a block element for a header(and page hero) and merge the header and navigation. I do not want to use the header element( I do not want to deal with html and CSS). Been browsing the forums and support doc for an article that addresses this specific issue. Please help direct me to any relevant resource or how to go about this.

We're really happy to read your comment, and thank you for letting us know!
The question about merge page hero with header still remains unsolved without using a header element only for the merge purpose.
It's definitely one of our goals, we're still trying to figure out what is the best way to achieve that.
If there's no need to change the colors of header/logo, I would say give the first container a negative margin-top will also do.
Otherwise CSS is required if you really don't want to use a header element.
