Hi there,

1. I would personally just add the text as a menu item (Custom Link) with no URL. Same sort of thing I did on the demo for the "Premium" text in the secondary navigation: http://demo.generatepress.com

3. What about this are you trying to do? If you use the Inspect Element tool in your browser, you can see the HTML and CSS for those list items which you can use :)
