[Resolved] text above page content and sidebar

I have hero images on every page that is merged with the navigation. Most of the site is not using sidebars, but in one section, I need a sidebar. I am trying to get a paragraph of text to appear on the page above both the page content and sidebar, an opening paragraph. I thought I could do this with a block hook, but every option I tried has the opening paragraph only above the rest of the page content and not across the full width of the page.

The site is local so I cannot add a link.

Sorry, I never got the email that you replied. Yes, I tried that. It goes above the content and sidebar, but doesn’t cover the full width, so it’s just above the main content and above the sidebar is empty.
