Template not working

Hey Support Team,
I created a pre-made template for the hero sections, using one of the 2 pre-made templates that are given by default. The template doesn't work when updating it. It won't recognize the changes.
Here is a loom video of me explaining the issue in detail:https://www.loom.com/share/ad29c50458f84f06a4a06b82ea91d46f
Can you check why this is happening?
Hi there,
Can you disable breeze CACHE and any other caching or optimization plugins you are using to test first?
Yes, I tried deactivating them all, and it makes no difference.
Can you disable all plugins except GP Premium and let us take a look?
Are you sure the display rule is set up correctly?
What if you target that page instead of using Page Tag?
Yes disabled all, left only generate premium and generate blocks. (have to leave generate blocks, because its where the template comes from) and it didn't work.
Then I tried being specific and having a template on the specific page vs on the tag and it worked.
However, this is not a good solution as the template needs to be used on a lot of pages that have that specific tag.
Then the display rule is definitely the issue.
How are you adding a tag to static pages?
As far as I'm aware, WP only allows tags to posts by default.
There's a plugin called "tag pages" that allows you to add tags to pages, it adds it as functionality, same as it would happen with posts.
This plugin was there even in the beginning when the template was working initially so I doubt its directly connected to it, otherwise it wouldn't have worked from the beginning.
So just to confirm, it used to work but it's no longer working?
Does the Post Tag display rule work? I noticed that you have the same tag for posts and pages.
Nothing has changed in display rules for a long time now.
Hey Leo,
here's a video:https://www.loom.com/share/61c4f81b242b49568253ae638ae4d162
Seems like the issue is still there, I am leaving the hero page so you can come in and edit.
When something works in the backend/login and doesn't work in the front end, it usually means that there some sort of caching issue going on.
Can you confirm that there isn't any server-level optimization or caching activated?
Take a look at this article as well: https://docs.generateblocks.com/article/unstyled-content/
Hey There,
Just checked with my hosting support team and it appeared that there was varnish cache active on the server level. I deactivated it and everything is working fine now.
Glad to hear :)
