I am trying to optimize my website for mobiles however there seems to be some sort of issue I am struggling with. The template looks fine on mobiles until it's rotated. I am using a Samsung S21 and I notice 2 issues. The main navigation does not adjust to a mobile menu. The second issue is that the content area is not at its full width. This problem only happens on rotation. When the phone is upright, it looks fine. Is there something in the settings that I am missing? I have added a link to a screenshot in the box below. (phone is rotated).

Certainly. I have added a link in the private box. If you need backend details, feel free to let me know.

Any chance you can disable all plugins including SG Optimizer except GP Premium to test?

Your site is also built with Elementor so it might not be a theme issue.

I have disabled all plugins but problem remains.

Hi Cedric,

When your mobile device rotated, the width is more than 768px (the default mobile device width), so the site will treat it as desktop.

You can increase the mobile menu break point to eg. 1000px to avoid this problem: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/primary-navigation-layout-overview/

The empty space is the the space reserved for sidebar which has no content on your post:

If you don't need a sidebar, go to customizer > layout > sidebars, set Single Post Sidebar Layout tocontent(no sidebars).

Let me know if this helps :)

Wow, thanks. Solved perfectly.! :)

Nice :)

You are welcome!
