Manuela
Hello
When I open my website in the Google Chrome browser, I see that the website somehow loads twice. I hope I am describing the problem correctly.
Then this morning a new problem occurred: My website loaded without images and only the text was left-aligned in the window.
Only a few seconds later the pictures were loaded. On the mobile phone with the browser Safari, the error can also be seen that the start page loads twice.
As I am not a technician, I wonder what I can do to make the start page load normally.
Unfortunately, with the theme, I no longer have insight into the php. files.
I am asking for your help as this is my company site. Thank you.
Kind regards Manuela Frenzel

StaffCustomer SupportHi there,
so your site is first loading without all the styles, and then over time the correct styles are loaded.
This generally happens when there is an overzealous cache / optimizer in place on the site.Do you have any plugin or server side caching/optimizers running ?

StaffCustomer SupportAnd if you disable that plugin, does the issue go away ?

I have tried it with the WP Supercache. When I deactivate it, the double loading does not occur.
Except for the secondary menu, above the header. When I call up my website with my mobile phone, the secondary menu is first expanded for seconds (without me clicking on it) and then collapsed.I wonder, WP Supercache is recommended by WordPress experts, isn’t it?
And, I wonder if by deactivating this plugin, I will get a bad result in mobility again.

StaffCustomer SupportOk, in see the second issue and this looks to be the Swis cache loading styles later.
Disable that to check if all the problems go away.
If they do, then we know those 2 plugins are the cause and will need proper configuration

Hello David
That’s right, it’s the Swiss plugin. Of all things, the plugin that is supposed to make my site faster and minimise bloated CSS.

StaffCustomer SupportTry just the WPO plugin.
Adding 2 plugins that optimize things may cause you a headache 🙂 -
