Target theme navigation bar - how do I change the search icon for something else

Darned if I can figure out where the cart and search icons are located that show up to the right of the top navigation. It doesn't seem to be a menu item or a widget. I'd like to swap it out for a log-in icon instead of the search icon, can you help me out? Where are these located so that I can edit them?

You can disable thenavigation searchat customizer > layout > primary navigation:

If you want to add a login icon, you can use a block element - hook:

You can use a buttons block of GenerateBlocks to add the icon to the block element:

Choose hookas element type, choose generate_menu_bar_item as hook name, choose entire siteas location.
