Tablet layout not working

Hi,
I've set a breakpoint for tablet navi (using the mobile menu), which is great - but the tablet layout (background colours/images on sections, etc) doesn't render very well (desktop and mobile look great)

Can you advise? Site at http://www.myeyelevel.co.uk/home

Thanks
Rob

Hi Rob,

I think the hero container is causing the issue here:

My recommendation would be to re-create this page using the block editor and GenerateBlocks.

Sections and Lightweight Grid Columns are both (very) outdated and will no longer be supported.

The grid system LGC is using also makes it very difficult to make this kind of layout responsive.

The grid and container blocks from GenerateBlocks will make your life much easier:

You will see some performance improvements and also fully control the responsive layout without writing a line of CSS.

Thanks Leo,

Aside from installing GB, what do I need to do to transition current layout to GB?

I've got a Snippet pulling in Sections to GP, plus LGC installed - do I disable those?
How do I get building GB on pages? (currently have Disable Gutenburg running too)

I'm mindful we're almost at launch, and I'll have to rip apart/learn GB/republish all the pages :/

Nothing from what I can see - GB should be able to handle all the requirements/layouts on that page.

You will need to re-activate the Gutenberg editor for sure.

I would recommend watching a couple of videos to get yourself familiar with containers the grid:

Then create a staging site with Gutenberg activated to rebuild the page. Once that's done then make the staging site live.

It is a much easier way to go.
