Table Filtering

I have a general question. I love the theme and it is working flawlessly! I'm curious if you have a plugin or Javascript you have implemented in the past to allow for filtering of tables? Looking for 2 functions; search or filter by predetermined variables from a drop down. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Unfortunately filtering is always quite complicated and I'm not aware of a solution.
