system fonts

Hi,
I've been reading about system fonts and just want to double-check with you if my conclusion is right.
Could you please tell me if I'm correct:
1- In the system fonts, if I chose "system stack" it will show the operating system font by definition in each device? This should be the fastest loading font right?
2- If I chose any other system font, would the user notice the loading speed difference? I think both situations are similar.
3- If I chose "inherit" it will do it from the body font, right?
4- What would be the con of choosing a specific system font? Can I be assured that it will show on all browsers or not?
5- If I chose system stack can I rest assured that this option will always be updated?

Hi there,
1. Correct.
2. No.
NOTE: Not all System stack fonts are present on every device - so they generally fallback to the local font anyway.
3. Correct. And if Body were set to inherit then it used the System Stack.
4. See point 2.
5. There isn't anything really to be updated as Browsers will simply use their local font if they don't have the one that is specified in GP's system stack.
