Syntax for footer widget background image position

What is the exact syntax of specifying footer widget background image position?
Could you give an example to illustrate this syntax shown in the tool? Can these three method (by word, by percentage, and by pixels) be combined? For percentage, need the percent sign be specified as well?
left top, x% y%, xpos ypos (px)
