SVG logo

Hello Tom,
I've just uploaded a svg-logo in WordPress without additional plugin. It seems uploading SVG is no longer disabled in WordPress. Is this correct and is it no longer necessary to install the SVG-safe plugin as is stated in your article here https://docs.generatepress.com/article/adding-svg-logo/ ? Will there still be a vulnerability issue without this plugin?
Thanks in advance, Sandra
It's possible that a plugin you're using is enabling SVG upload by default, as I don't believe WordPress has made any changes when it comes to this.
I seem to be getting the same results as Sandra. When I enable GP Premium, svg uploads to the library are enabled. When I disable GP Premium, they are disabled. Is this new functionality?
There should be no change here.
The steps to upload SVG logo is still outlined here:

Let me know if this helps.
