SVG images blow up
5 replies · Started by Atefan on March 15, 2021
Hello,
Apart from the blinking icons.
I see, that in google cache, the svg images are really big.
And I have another site, where this is not happening.
But only in google cache, you can see it.
How can this happen?
Thanks
Hi there,
if you right click and inspect the Cached Page you will see the site is requesting cached autoptimized stylesheets which presumably are out of date and therefore missing the relevant styles to display your layout.
Once you have completed editing your page(s) you should clear any caches and then get Google to re-index/fetch the site again.
Hi Davis,
I will remove all caches, to see if this could cause the problem.
Thanks
You're welcome
it is very frustrating my last week and it does not stop.
please find attached screenshots from the mobile test.
https://search.google.com/test/mobile-friendly
from my index page.
image 1 shows, exactly as google cache shows the broken menu.
i removed all caches in WordPress and on the server.
but still, and if you make the test different times, you get different results, what could cause a mess like this?
thanks
I tested several pages on mobile friendly test - all of them passed and looked 'correct'
However when testing this URL /mauritius/offshore-mauritius/ - the report did say loaded with issues. When you follow the Page Loading Issues: View Details link it shows that some CSS files are not being loaded - they have an error of Other beside them.
This article explains the ambiguous Other Error:
