SVG icons

Hello! I am currently using Font Awesome to display some icons on my site.
However I have noticed that FA slows my site.
I remember seeing in a GeneratePress change log that they would launch a function to place icons on the sites.
Could you give me more information?

Hi there,
The SVG icons included in GP are only the icons used throughout the theme such as menu toggle, dropdown arrow etc.

Oh I understand, and is there any alternative to Font Awesome that is lighter?
You could find some free svg icons if that helps?
