[Resolved] SVG Files

Hi,

Is there a plugin which converts uploaded files into fast loading SVG image, or I must convert a file locally into SVG and then upload it?
If there is a plugin, what is the name of it and if I must convert the file into SVG, which application should I use for it. I have access to Adobe Creative Cloud. Thank you.

Hi there,

no – there is not a plugin that converts raster images ( JPG, PNG etc. ) to SVG.
SVG Images are only suitable for illustrative images ( icons, diagrams, line drawings ), not photographic images.
And although there are Tracing applications out there, or an in built option in Adobe Illustrator they are not particularly good and would require manual tracing.
