Lisa
I purchased the premium version. Is the forum the only way to get support (besides the Facebook group)? Any private ticket support system? I am getting errors in my error log and need assistance, the site is live but due to client restrictions, I can’t post a link to it in a public forum. I’m using GP Premium v1.3.40 with a child theme.

Lead DeveloperLead DeveloperHi Lisa,
Can you try using our blank child theme?: https://generatepress.com/forums/topic/how-to-install-a-child-theme/#post-198913
I believe the below error will only happen if style.css doesn’t exist:
filemtime(): stat failed for url

I started with that exact child theme and then just changed the child theme name, uri and author and of course added all my css after that. I am not using @import but added a ton of CSS to customize.
Is it looking specifically for “GeneratePress Child” as the Theme Name?

Lead DeveloperLead DeveloperHmm not that shouldn’t matter.
So style.css still exists?
Template: generatepress
still exists in the header of the style.css file?Documentation: http://docs.generatepress.com/

Yes, the original style.css for the parent theme (GP) and then in the child theme folder for the child theme.

Just sent login info. There are security plugins on this site, if you have any issues logging in, I might need to add your IP.
