I really want to set up an online learning environment with LearnPress. I am very happy with the theme GeneratePress and all the options that are involved. But LearnPress does not come out of the picture with this theme.
Is there a possibility that LearnPress is better integrated in GeneratePress with the help of an extra activation module, just like it is already with a second navigation.
As an example I have a theme at the moment that works well with LearnPress, but I can not do much with it. You can find the example at: https://www.natuurkundescheikunde.nl/edusite/webquest/
The difference with the current use of LearnPress with GeneratePress can be found here: https://www.natuurkundescheikunde.nl/webquest/
I hope that there is a possibility that LearnPress can work much better with GeneratePress by activating an extra module.
I would love to hear from you.
Sincerely,
Dennis van Welie(PS: My English is not that good, so this post was created with Google Translate.)
February 27, 2018 at 3:57 pm #507402LeoStaffCustomer SupportHi there,
Sorry I’m not exactly sure what I’m supposed to be looking at on both pages you linked?
February 27, 2018 at 4:01 pm #507406DennisI would indeed like to look at both links. The former link is the example I would like to use within GeneratePress. That seems to me a very nice addition to this fine theme.
The second link shows what it looks like now and what is now missing (without implants), because LearnPress in GeneratePress is not fully supported at the moment.
I trust that I have informed you sufficiently.
Sincerely,

The header? navigation?
Let me know ๐
February 27, 2018 at 4:28 pm #507428Dennislet me ask otherwise: is it possible that LearnPress is supported more by GeneratePress, so that course lists and course pages will look more like the page: https://natuurkundescheikunde.nl/edusite/webquest.
Can this be realized with an extra module within GeneratePress Premium?
February 27, 2018 at 9:29 pm #507520TomLead DeveloperLead DeveloperHi there,
The GP page is returning a 404 error.
I’m sure we can make it similar to the other site as long as the plugin adds the necessary HTML.
February 27, 2018 at 11:36 pm #507573DennisSorry, I moved the GP page to https://natuurkundescheikunde.nl/cursussen
February 28, 2018 at 10:11 am #508119TomLead DeveloperLead DeveloperDoes LearnPress have different styles you can apply? Those layouts are quite different. The GP one is using 100% LearnPress CSS.
Perhaps the GP site is using the standard LearnPress styling, whereas the other sites has done a bunch of custom stuff to it?
February 28, 2018 at 2:25 pm #508362DennisLearPress has no option to apply different styles for LearnPress. The possibilities on the other site indeed come from the theme itself, where a lot of adjustments have been made.
But could those adaptations from GeneratePress also be added to GP-Premium with an Add-on for LearnPress? I would really love that! Another big plus with which GeneratePress can profile itself on the market!
February 28, 2018 at 11:13 pm #508554TomLead DeveloperLead DeveloperIt’s not something on our immediate road map, but I’ve logged an issue for us to look at it ๐
March 1, 2018 at 4:26 am #508733DennisI can only appreciate that. In any case, I am really looking forward to it!
