Suggestions for Sidebar Responsiveness

Hi, reading through the forum I can see I am not the only one struggling with the responsive behaviour of sidebars for some type of content. Without having sidebars fixed width while content flexible width it is impossible to avoid very narrow and very tall sidebars of text, especially using content/sidebar/sidebar layout.
I have one feature suggestion. What about to change sidebars to slide-out-from-side type (like menus) at certain breakpoints? The idea can be seen here:

I have been working on a responsive control where you can adjust the width on desktop and tablet (while mobile stays 100%).

Your solution sounds good as well, although I would be happier to see a brand new add-on for "slide-out sidebars".
I have just purchased GP Premium and have been testing it together with the Elementor on local host. I must say I am impressed! As soon as an "issue" with sidebars is solved I will go online...
