Today i suddenly discovered that in my vertical menu "Front page" is displayed right under the logo.
I haven't changed anything in the theme for ages, so i wonder where this is coming from, but i do wonder more the get this away.
Thanks,
John
Hi there,
I'm not sure unfortunately.
It's added with this HTML somewhere which isn't in GP:
<span class="post-state">Front Page</span>
Have you tried disabling all plugins to eliminate any conflicts?
Hi Leo,
It was caused by the "Slate" backend theme. Did not expect that a back-end theme could cause something on the front-end.
Thanks,
John
Sorry, must be something else.
The "front page" disappears when logged in and reappears when logged out.
Must look further
Yeah I would try disabling all plugins and go from there :)
Indeed caused by the Slate theme https://nl.wordpress.org/plugins/slate-admin-theme/
Had to flush caches regularly to determine this. It seems this theme has issues with elementor pro.
Glad you've figured out :)
Just want to add a similar bad experience with the Slate Admin theme.
With it installed, I couldn't update the Content typography colors... It's strange this theme would interfere, since it is only for the backend to make my Admin theme pretty.
