Sub Menu Tutorials

Do we have any articles that step us through how to make separate menus? I want to have my posts categorized soon so that's it's not all of my posts mixed together. For example, I want a menu on parenting, one on teaching, and then a general blog where I post about my family and other stuff. If we do that, can we then categorize our posts to go under that menu?

I know it's out there, I just don't want to mess with my menus without guidance and get stuff looking crazy, as I've done before. Then, I get super frustrated. If we have a tutorial or article on that, it would be so much easier for me.

Thanks!

Hi there,

if in your Posts you add a Category then WP and GP will automatically create a Category Archive.

And if you Edit your Menu in Appearance > Menus you will be able to add those Categories to your Menu:

So you need to create some Categories first, assign them to your published posts, and then you can add them to your menu.

For creating sub menus check out this doc:

Yep! You all are so helpful! Thanks so much!

Happy to hear that :)
