I have a menu with one level of sub-menu items

I’d love to have the secondary level open underneath the first level as shown in this example

The second line would only show the sub-menu items for the relavant top-level menu item.

Ah, this is do-able but would require significant customization – a bit too much for me to do in here.

I’ll look through it and see if this can be offered as a feature down the road.

I did see some suggestions this could be done with CSS

    eg
    https://wordpress.org/support/topic/display-sub-menu-horizontally-1

But quite apart from actually getting the sub-menu items to appear horizontally there’s still the problem of getting them to appear in a nice way on the navigation area…

Here’s some CSS that may work..

    Hi

    Very impressive!

    Have a look at http://www.wookeyfarm.com/camping/things-to-do-and-see/

The only thing is that it’s not staying on view all the time, not just on hover.

    regards

Yea, it’s working as a regular dropdown.

To make it so you have to click it to see the dropdown would involve considerable javascript.

I may add that functionality to an add-on in the future, we’ll see πŸ™‚
