Struggling with sections

I am fairly new to generatepress & playing with sections, but can't get it to work. When I create a new page & say yes to sections, the sections box appears, but I can't make any changes or add a section. Are there any known plugin conflicts, or am I just missing something?
Hi there,
You might have a javascript error being caused by a plugin.
Can you try #1 on this page?: https://generatepress.com/knowledgebase/debugging/
It looks like it was a conflict with All in One SEO - changed to Yoast & appears to be working. Thanks very much
Interesting - I'll take a look at it to see if I can spot the issue.
Sections is currently being rebuilt which should help with little things like this :)
I would like to have multiple columns one 1 of the pages of my site.
If I use customize->blog->columns I think I can only change the template for all pages of the site, not only 1 page.
From the instructions video for sections https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y-GETbBhxaw&feature=youtu.be
I got the impression that I can use sections to make multiple columns (parts of this page appears to be single column, and parts 3 columns (light-weight etc)). Can you please explain how this is done?
In general it would be very helpful to have some example pages with all the settings or instructions videos that explain all the choices made (I now for instance don't have a clue what 'padding' means) rather than the very brief ones that are available now.
Thanks
Ah, to get multiple columns within your sections/content, you can use our free Lightweight Grid Columns plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/lightweight-grid-columns/
Let me know if you need more info :)
Thanks, I think this allows me to do what I wanted :)
Awesome :)
