Structure menu - Floats

Hi there,

Floats were deprecated - all GP 3.1 installs are built on Flexbox now.

Cannot use Lightweight Grid Columns anymore with new installs, only with existing ones?
What should I use for columns when working with Classic Editor then?

I have not tested LGC in a while, but it should work no matter what the theme structure is, its not reliant on the themes styles. Have you tested it?

Strange things are happening...
When updating existing sites that are using LGC with floats, everything works fine when keeping previous settings.
I'm also still able to switch to flexbox but the page breaks completely.

But when taking this unsemantic code from the same page and use it at a fresh site where I install a fresh version of the theme and where there is no option to switch floats/flexbox - it works fine...

LGC is obsolete. Consider updating your sites using its successor, GenerateBlocks.

Sorry for the sandbox, lost this code but I created an admin temporary account for you and posted the link in the private box.

Sorry lets just be clear:

1. All Existing sites work fine if you leave them as Floats
2. A new clean install ( which by default ) - the LGC also works correctly

Hi. I have a website template that when building I used the float.
All CSS for this template was done using Float.

If I want to build a new website using this CSS template made in Float, how should I do it?

* Install pre-3.1 version, select Float, then upgrade to 3.1?

Can I install these versions available on GitHub on my website?
