    Hi there,

Migrating from divi to GP. In terms of shortcodes that are displaying on the website, I’m working through to remove those manually. However, even when the text looks correct, there is a bunch of HTML code like span elements from where we copied/pasted from a word doc. Is there an easy way to remove these without manually going through each one?

    Thanks

    Matt

    Hi there,

    there are some plugins like:

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/better-search-replace/
    https://wordpress.org/plugins/search-regex/

That allow you to search and replace content in your database.
So you could search for certain HTML tags in the post content and remove them.

Its not for the feint hearted and it goes without saying that you should make backups before doing that kind of thing 🙂
