Strange Paragraph and white space in the footer

Hi!
I use GP site libraries template. After I tweaked the footer I got a white space below it. I checked the source code and it seems that the paragraph inside div with .site-footer class caused it. I don't why this paragraph has appeared and I can't remove it.
I checked my test site (with template installed) and found that div with .site-footer class contains only div with #contact id. So it confirmed that the issue caused by this paragraph. Please help to fix it.

edit the Element for your footer and make sure to delete any empty text block that sits below the content. Simply by inserting the cursor and backspace/delete.
