Sticky Post

Hi ya all,
I would like to pin a post on top of my blog (sticky post) but don't know how to do that. I searched for the term "sticky posts" in the forum, but didn't find anything helpful. Is anybody out there who can teach me?

Well, ist's always the same. Once I get my query out there, I find the solution all by my self. In this case it is written in here: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/how-to-make-post-sticky
Anyhow, I really don't get why WP hides the sticky post checkbox like this.

Well, is there any possibility to have a sticky post on the category subpage?
This is handled by WordPress so I'd recommend checking with WordPress support.
