evaluating theme for new web site
this looks amazing and is simple πWant a sticky menu
using Sticky Menu (or Anything!)
the sticky element is #site-navigationall looks good on desk top but on phone menu only works if you haven’y scrolled down
is this the way to do it or should I be using exhibit theme ?also noticed that text colour does not seem to change the text colour ? I have not brought the addons yet
Great theme
thanks in advanceMarch 4, 2015 at 6:39 am #82461IanNote just found out menu does not work on desktop either if window is narrow enough to show icon instead of full menu and you have scrolled down

Sorry for not getting back to you sooner.
That sounds like it may be an issue with the plugin itself. You can try making the navigation sticky without the plugin with these instructions: http://generatepress.com/forums/topic/keep-menus-visable-with-scroll/#post-54453
Hope this helps π
March 5, 2015 at 8:25 am #82961ianthanks for response
I couldn’t get to work as described by you aboveBut I did get it to work using your child theme exhibit which I found in the wordpress suppository
Haven’t checked differences It could just be me not messed about with child themes before
Might be useful to someone else as that is all exhibit seems to do ?!You really have created a great theme
IT’s too easy to useMarch 5, 2015 at 9:21 am #82988TomLead DeveloperLead DeveloperThat’s odd – but glad you got it working with the Exhibit theme π
April 20, 2015 at 11:03 am #100492Fabian CosmannHi Tom,
I also changed to your Exhibit theme because of the sticky menu.
Everything works fine except one thing…
If I combine a page with an image in the content page header (your add-on) together with a text overlying the image (similar to your page, with buttons) the navigation does not being sticky anymore. Can you please help?
Many thanks
FabianApril 20, 2015 at 10:58 pm #100615TomLead DeveloperLead DeveloperCan you link me to a page where this is happening so I can take a look at the code?

Only works without the text on the image…April 21, 2015 at 9:37 am #100817TomLead DeveloperLead DeveloperAh, you found a bug π I have this fixed in the next version.
To fix this for now, you can de-select the “full screen” option in the page header options.
April 21, 2015 at 11:46 am #100913Fabian CosmannHi Tom,
cool, is working. π
But the image is still larger than the mobile screen if I reduce the browser size.
April 21, 2015 at 10:32 pm #101112TomLead DeveloperLead DeveloperSeems you put the site behind a username and password?
You can send me login info to support@generatepress.com if you’d like.
Let me know π
April 22, 2015 at 6:51 am #101249Fabian CosmannHi Tom,
yes, it’s under heavy construction π
But I opened it up. You should now able to access the site.
April 22, 2015 at 7:59 am #101268TomLead DeveloperLead DeveloperSeems that you just have to keep adjusting the mobile image until it’s the correct size/aspect ratio for mobile screens π
