Hello,
I am currently working on a staging site for my current site and the header menus between the two are no longer the same. On the current site the sticky menu is centered when scrolling down but on the staging it is not.
What on earth did I do wrong? I have been trying to resolve this now for some time to no avail.

This CSS is causing it’s align right.
https://www.screencast.com/t/5i0KzFmIiJZI can’t see where it’s coming from, could you disable your cache plugin and clear cache so we can have another look?
February 17, 2021 at 7:32 am #1661898PeterI have disabled the plugin and cleared the cache.
February 17, 2021 at 8:49 am #1662000DavidStaffCustomer SupportHi there,
can you check the Customizer > Layout > Primary Navigation and make sure the Inner Navigation Width is set to Contained
February 17, 2021 at 9:26 am #1662053PeterHi,
I did not see the option under primary, but I did under secondary and it is selected as contained.

As far as I can tell my customization of this site is mirroring the original: http://lunghealth.ca/ so I am very confused what happened to make the sticky menu start misbehaving.
February 17, 2021 at 10:18 am #1662135YingStaffCustomer SupportHi Monica,
Are you using Flexbox for the current site and Floats for the staging site?
Try to keep them under the same structure.https://docs.generatepress.com/article/switching-from-floats-to-flexbox/
February 17, 2021 at 10:40 am #1662185PeterI’m using elementor on both sites, there weren’t any changes between the two that I am aware of.
February 17, 2021 at 11:05 am #1662217YingStaffCustomer SupportCould you go to Customizer > General, confirm the Structure setting for both sites are Flexbox?
Let me know ๐February 17, 2021 at 11:18 am #1662226PeterBoth sites are Floats.
February 17, 2021 at 11:41 am #1662254PeterNot sure what caused it but i fixed it by exporting my old site’s settings and importing them. Still no idea what I did to change it.
February 17, 2021 at 11:42 am #1662256YingStaffCustomer SupportThat is a weird one.
Glad it’s fixed ๐October 29, 2021 at 2:08 am #1981986JulianJust got the same problem and got it fixed:
When you are in Layout -> Primary Navigation certain options only appear if you select “Above header” or “Below header” for option “Navigation Location”. Besides others you find the option “Navigation Alignment” which can be set to “right”, “left”, or “center”. For me it was set to “left” which also affected the navigation in the fixed header. I set it to “center”, saved the configuration, then set the “Navigation Location” to “Float Right” again because I wanted the non-fixed header navigation to float on the right side beside the site logo. The navigation in the fixed header stayed centered.
Maybe this helps someone else.

yes, its a known UX issue, and something we’ll be addressing a future update.
